I was interviewed for my CR1 conditional IR1 Spouse of US Citizen on August 21 2018 in Sydney Australia and the visa issued on the 22 of August which I received in my passport on 24 August via mail.  I have read that after the interview you are given a Sealed Immigrant Packet which you are not permitted to open and have to carry with you and hand over the authorities at the airport you land at in the USA.  No such packet was given to me and I am worried that I never received one.  Can someone advise me about this matter please

Did you get  a piece of paper with your passport? I have seen many people that have received a piece of paper saying no need for a packet as it is all electronic now.

Yoir packet was sent electronically. Be glad. I had to hand-carry mine and it weighed a LOT. It was over 300 pages and the envelope started to tear. I was terrified of losing some of the pages.

Yes, My fiancee packet isn't that big I don't think, but it is decent. I had her buy a Tyvek envelope that was a little larger than the original cheapo paper one they used, and had her put it inside that and seal it. Won't rip or tear very easily at all, has decent water resistance too. I figure we will remove the original envelope from the tyvek one after we land at the airport in the US.

thanks to all who have responded, I have done a lot more searching on the net and as a result examined and see the following on my visa under the words Annotation ** IV Documents in CCD 212(g) (2) (B).

It would appear that this is a reference to Consular Consolidated Database which holds all current and achieved data from all  Consulates.  I am at ease now although I was not given a note saying the documents are available electronically.  Again thanks to you all
