Hello I called and spoke to the NVC last Friday ( 9/21/18 ) and they gave me our Case#.

Today my fiancee called to schedule his medical and they told him to come this Friday ( 9/28/18 ).

My question is - is the attached screenshot enough to print out and bring to the Medical ?

Even if it still says "at NVC"? How long after you are given the case # does it take for them to send it over?

Can we still attend the medical with it not being forwarded over to the embassy yet?

Thank you

Most places will let you schedule over the phone with just the case number. They sometimes ask for NOA2 copy for proof. You might want to wait a little while before you do the medical. Not sure how long it takes to get to interview, but the Visa expiration date is based on the date of the medical, so if you do the medical now, and it takes 2 months to get to the interview you will only have a Visa valid for 4 months. Most people wait until interview is scheduled before they go to the medical exam. My fiancee did her medical a week before the interview with no problem. And we only had 9 days from notification of interview until the interview date, but that is pretty rare. You usually have 2-3 weeks notice before the interview so you have plenty of time to get the medical exam done.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

Knightsbridge just want to verify that case number in writing and have accepted what you post in the past.

Important. Make sure he has

  • Police certificate
  • Medical summary from his GP
  • Record of having all shots needed for adjustment of status so he can skip the Civil Surgeon in te US.

And we have to pay the £330 at the medical too right?

Is that all?

Your fiance should have recieved an email from the visa medical people once he has booked the appointment stating everything that they will need. But just incase, here is what I recieved with my email ;) and yes, the fee is £330 if you don't need any vaccinations or anything extra.

  1. Original Passport or UK Driving Licence (photo card not paper licence)

Copies of ID MUST be certified. We will be unable to conduct the medical if they are not certified by the US Embassy London/Belfast.

  1. 4 X Identical Passport style photos - UK or US size

(we accept UK or US sized photographs)

  1. ACRO Police certificate (or a copy) dated within the last 12 months for anyone 16 years of age & over (if your police certificate is more than one page long please advise Visa Medicals ahead of your medical as you may need additional time with the Doctor. If you fail to tell us ahead of time you may be asked to come back to go over this at an additional fee).

  1. Vaccination records - Please provide a vaccination record for the panel to look over on the day to advise if any further vaccines are needed.

Please bring Red Books, if available.

https://uk.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2015/11/vaccine_chart.pdf

Please visit the above link to see which vaccines are required for each age group.

  1. Completed medical questionnaire which can be found at; https://uk.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2017/05/USA-MEDICAL-QUESTIONNAIRE_IV.pdf

  1. A Letter/Email from the embassy/NVC to confirm your case number and visa category

  1.  Summary of medical history from GP (NOT full medical records) and reports covering any medical conditions, disabilities, and prior serious illnesses you have been treated for or anything ongoing. This is a new requirement and may not yet be added to the checklist online or the US EMBASSY LONDON website.

We will keep your medical on hold if you do not have it with you on the day of the appointment.

Ask your GP for a Patient Summary/Care Summary.

  1. If you wear glasses or contact lenses please bring them along to the appointment

  1. If you have any significant/ongoing/previous medical conditions please ensure that you bring a report from your GP/Specialist/Consultant regarding this; including, medication, prognosis, management etc.

* If your medical notes are very extensive (more than 10 pages) please inform Visa Medicals before you come for your medical. This required extra time with the doctor to go through your notes. If you do not inform us of this, you will be charged for an appointment slot for the doctor to read these notes.

Please follow this link; https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/family-immigration/medical-examination/ where you can find all forms required at your medical from the US Embassy website.

Yes, you pay the clinic on the day of exam.

You pay for the visa online online as part of the interview scheduling  steps.
