Hi!

How long until CEAC or USTraveldocs update the visa status to issued? The interview just finished an hour ago as of today and my fiance passed. :) :) :)

Hour ago and you are looking for ISSUED status?  Not anxious are you ~

3 - 10 business days on average, sometimes longer.   Another 3-7 business days after that for delivery.

When they are ready to issue a visa, it should change to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application"; at that time, you  will know that you are a few days away from getting it. It would go from "Immigrant Visa Application" to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application" and  go to "Ready" ==> "Administrative Processing" ==>> "Issued".

Sometimes, it might skip "Administrative Processing" and go from "Ready" to "Issued".

Just a little more patience is needed.

Just went through this in the last couple of weeks....see my timeline...

Yes...I also went to 'issued' in 24 hours.

Visa was at the local 2Go office in 4 business days....from interview....hehehe....but 2GO (Vigan, Phil) was less than stellar.....finally just went and picked it up....on the 5th (business) day.

That always amazes me with a K-1 & K-2 how one will lag behind the other for approval.   Yes they won't ship them out until both are ready.
