Travel for 1st time with green card

Hello every one . I recently got my green card . Im planning a 2 week trip to Morocco to visit my sick mother . Is there any problems when reentering Usa ? Thank you in advance

Be aware that some countries require a transit visa if you are changing planes there

 

in Canada you apply online ($7)   good for 5 years

in Paris only need one if you have to change airports or if the tickets are bought in more than one stage

like a ticket to Paris and then seperate one to Morocco

some sites do not tell u a transit visa is needed so check the country online

Adil just returned from Morocco after 43 day visit for EID and the New Year

came thru Canada where US border patrol had customs and immigration to the US (Montreal)

passed thru New Jersey with just a pass from border patrol

You don’t need a visa for Canada if you have a green card, but you need to apply for eTA if flying - also $7.

cost is the same  $7

The Government of Canada's official website see link below to apply for an eTA. It only costs $7 CAD. Most eTA applications are approved within minutes of applying.

 

and they are both good for 5 years or until your passport expires

Thank you Adil , i already got the Eta . Im just worried about when i come back . Any further information is appreciated . Im traveling with canadian airlines .

You'll be fine unless something extraordinary happens. Just show your green card to the border agent and that's it.

you wil have no problem in Canada with your ETA and green card
