Hi I'm new to the group my question is me an my fiance have been talking for three years we have decided to get marry next year 2019 I have a problem due to me changing phones I don't have any of my chats from the time we started talking in 2014 thru 2016 I have try to recover the ones we frist started chatting on Facebook but no luck, the only ones I have is some on FBI which is 2016 an 2018 an some on WhatsApp my question is will that be a red flag since I can't find those chats. Need help!!

you dont need them at all, assuming you have better and more concrete proof of being in a bonafide relationship and meetings in person.

 

and are you married or engaged? your title does not match your question.

what they want is proof of meeting. passport stamps, boarding passes, photos. Anything else is secondary.

depending on the country muliple meetings may help, but i included lots of pics, boarding passes, i have been with my fiance almost 5 years. we included a few screenshots for each month, from 18 months to current and all the call logs, we even included pifuture spouse is pics from video chats and call log details showing most calls last over an hour, ask people from the same country your future spouse is from, they will give you the best details,

you DEFINITELY need way more visits in that case.

 

Ghana is  a high fraud country and the consulate there is notoriously difficult.

i dont think you could travel and marry easy. find out the requirements for marriage in ghana and make sure you have the time and documents you need.

 

however, i STRONGLY advise against ANYONE getting married after only meeting once or even twice. but thats just my opinion. Even Spousal visas in ghana take time, and because, if you marry on your second visit, youve only met twice, it will be heavily scrutinized and almost certinly denied. you can appeal a spousal visa denial.

 

no matter what you choose to do, TIME TOGETHER IN MULTIPLE VISITS in REALLY important for ghana. REALLY IMPORTANT. go find the ghana forum. read all the posts. youll see.
