I'm new here, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Please am i to take my xray disc and my copy of vaccination record to the interview?

Everything given to you by your doctor after the medical should be taken to the interview, and you have to remember not to open the sealed envelope with the medical results.

Correct me if I am wrong they might have changed stuff since I did it a few years ago but no one is ever going to look at those x-ray's those are for you. The doctor will send all your papers to the embassy. The copy of the vaccines is for you to keep and use for Adjustment of Status.

I don't think it matters. I have NEVER seen anyone needing their x-ray cd. The embassy has no software to watch it and no one there is trained to look at x-rays of lungs. The embassy is not going to let you hand carry your medical information to the embassy as it could be falsified. Your doctor will send them all they need.

If you want country-specific information about anything specific to Nigeria I recommend posting in the African forum here on Visajourney.

I was allowed to take my medical results to the us embassy in my country. I was told not to open the sealed envelope. I think some embassies it is forwarded and others the beneficiary is allowed to take it to the embassy.

Yeah but then it is in a sealed enveloped. The OP said she had a copy of the vaccinations. That suggests that her doctor has sent everything the embassy needs to the embassy and they gave her a copy of the vaccinations to be used for Adjustment of Status. Unless of course she opened the sealed envelope but she doesn't mention any of the other documents.

I didn't open the envelope... I have the sealed envelope with me and I'm to take it to the embassy for my interview. I was given a copy of my vaccination and xray separately. I only wanted to know if if I'm to take those two with the sealed envelope to the interview.

You only need to bring the envelope :)

We were given an extra copy of the medical and immunizations when my then fiancé took his medical. We took the sealed envelope to the interview. We kept the copy of medical and immunizations for AOS which we submitted. Even though it was more than a year from filing to interview as far as the medical was concerned, he was not required to do another medical. Perhaps the reason was because we submitted it with our AOS

Hey, read instructions in packet 4 and if that won't help you must have been told at the hospital what to with the reports. The only report to the interview is the sealed envelope report, the xray is not required at the interview. you may want to take with you the xray when you are ready to depart your current location. cheers!
