Yes since the physical P4 takes about 10 days to come wait at lest a week after case status is ready to email or else they might write ask again.

Im bit confused @Shubiepinky and @A_R they have added 01 bmb at the end of my case so when ill put the whole case number it should include that or only bmb2018****10 or after case is ready bmb2018****10 01 bmb

Hi @Jas1305

when I booked my appointment I wrote the BMB2018****** which was fmgiven originally by the NVC. Even on US travel docs when you fill the form to book appointments it says “case number begins with 3 letters followed by a 10 digit number “ so fill what was originally goven by NVC.

This is the first time even I have seen the wnd part of case number with 01 BMB.

My status has also changed to Ready 😀

Hi,

Congrats to you too.

I know what you are talking about as I got the Same update.

But my answer is still the same what I answered above.

You enter the original case number without the 01 BMB as when on the website you you try the whole case number with 01 BMB it says invalid.

As I had mentioned above too on the website when you have to enter the case number it says “ case number is 3 letters followed by 10 digit number”

Hope that answers your confusion!!!

NVC case number is only 13 digits long. Ignore everything after. Here is an explanation for your better understanding.

How to Find Out WHEN Your Case Number was Assigned

For those that don't call every single day and want to know exactly what date their case number was assigned, there's an easy way to find out that simply involves looking at your case number. The first three letters are the three-letter consulate/embassy code. The next four numbers are the year the case number was assigned. The next three numbers are the Julian date it was assigned, plus 500. And finally, the last three numbers are the sequential order of when it was assigned that date. You can find a chart with Julian dates here [10].

For example: MTL2014815162. Let's put some lines in to divide it up. So: MTL|2014|815|162. This means that this case is going through Montreal and the number was assigned on November 11th, 2014, and it was the 162nd case that day to be assigned a number.

2) intent date to be in Usa i have selected 23 dec 2018  is it fine if ? Any date will be fine. They just want an Idea that you don't plan to stay in India for any length of time beyond the expiration date of your visa. They won't adjust that date because you decide you want a longer vacation but just the same they wnat to know.

3)entity / who gonna pay for trip ?  List whomever is going to pay for the trip. It's rare but not unheard of that the portioner will pay but it's not a black mark against you if you as the beneficiary pays.

I can choose any option or should i choose fiance , self or  relative (my father) ? See ^
