@Greenbaum, how do I get the visa fee payment receipt if it was an online payment ?

Presuming you have made NEFT to the right account-number of theirs that they provide at the payment options screen, don't the numbers after TIER1 or TIER2 or TIER3 or TIER4 form your Receipt Number? That's what I'd read somewhere when doing my payment but honestly, I found the whole thing a bit confusing, so I played safe & made a cash-deposit at the local Axisbank branch, they gave me a receipt with Bank Reference Number on it (which I think was the same except TIERx behind it, to which I was supposed to make the NEFT), which I was able to validate after more than 12 hours of payment.

@K@S, I already recd the receipt # & paid the fee & scheduled interview. But along with the documents for interview they ask this visa fee receipt. That’s what I was wondering. My interview letter has payment details at the bottom & I hope that serves the purpose

@K@S @ujones I didn't find a separate receipt but there's one MRV receipt along with UID and barcode and the amount stating that the fee have been paid, it's there on the appointment letter confirmation where you have the VAC appointment details and interview appointment details, take that print, I'm going to use that for fee receipt

Right, that interview-confirmation-letter should likely suffice to indicate that you have paid the fees, though if you're still unsure, then you could try to confirm it with ustraveldocs support, they seemed pretty helpful to me when I called or e-mailed them.

@K1journey_16 It looks like both of us have our interview on 7th February.

@Greenbaum, on the I-134 affidavit I just read that beneficiary A# is the number on the NOA2 ? I was going to leave it blank but now confused if I should write this number down

The A# is on the NOA2.

I have all of the other stuff lined up in the folder, though I'm still wondering how photos should be presented. Whether to write the names, places, etc. on the back of each photo, or stick each one of them on plain A4 papers & write below the photos, or put them in an album but then, we don't have a lot of them (which I hope won't be an issue), since though we took a lot of photos in general during her trip here, there are only a few with two of us TOGETHER. 😒 I've done a lot of questions online previously, well in advance of the interview, so I feel like I'm fairly well-prepared, though I'm definitely going through the questions-list you've provided since one never knows what they'll ask. How many pages of chats from facebook, skype, etc. are we supposed to carry? I mean I don't want it to be too much or too little. I'll have my VAC appointment on 5th before the interview on 7th. Good luck with your preparations! :)

@K@S if you have account in Shutterfly you can make photobook. That’s another option to present photos. Have you already provided photos & chat messages when u filed for I 129 ? If so you only need ones after that right ? What abt wedding plans ? Seems like Mumbai consulate is asking for those . Good luck with your interview. Ours is March 7th

Do your best to show that your relationship continues and you have every intention of seeing this through to marriage. So any evidence that you can provide only strengthens your case. Pictures, chat logs, phone logs, wedding plans but keep them simple and more centered that they will occur in the USA after you arrive because anything slightly misleading that a wedding might be performed in India will only get you denied, so use common sense.

Any guidelines on how many pages of chats should be there, so that they're not too much or too little? We have been conversing more or less daily since 2015 on okcupid, facebook & skype, so if I printed out everything, then it will surely run into tens of thousands of pages, so I've picked out one screenshot from every month, plus, any special events, like birthdays, Valentine's day, anniversaries, etc., & from all 3 media of communication. I have close to 100 pages of prints.

@ujones  @K1journey_16 Thanks for your suggestions. Rapidvisa had told us to only send photos with the original petition & bring chats to at the Interview, though of course, I'm taking both just for the heck of it, & then it's up to the CO to see them or not. We don't really have any CONCRETE wedding plans given the nature of uncertainty of visas, though we have discussed a couple of POTENTIAL possibilities, which I would mention. After getting the visa, our first goal would be to get legally married as soon as I enter the US, & then, we would make concrete plans about a wedding, with guests & everything else, 6 months or so after that.
