Try nasal rinse?

Wotju guys doin for Little Trophie birthday?

I was flushing that sinus like mad, but it was so swollen.

We were supposed to go to an indoor water park, but everyone is sick.  So, I'm making her a cake from scratch today, then making her dinner request.  We'll do the water park a different day.  Her birthday is a week after the Dane's, so there is a lot of cake eating going on.  I made him a Black Magic cake, but she's getting a homemade funfetti one with purple buttercream.  We'll see how that goes.

Happy Manycade of existence to mini-Nola-B.-ma'am, si ma'ams!

Only a small fraction of sinus infections and colds are bacterial.  They won't even give you antibiotics for them at our local doctors anymore.

I've heard of these ketchup chips, but I've never had them. Consider me intrigued.

Do you guys have Violet Crumbles or Crunchie bars there too?

Unfortunately, as someone who was on antibiotics many times a year as a child for sinus infections, they don’t seem to work great for me.

I even suspect this this might be allergy related. The Dane was playing around with the furnace last night to install a humidifier.  I stuck my head in the never been cleaned return duct that was full of decades of allergens. It will be getting cleaned tonight before he turns that thing on.

To clarify, my “sinus infections” as a child were more like just really bad rhinitis. We had a dog with fur, cats, and down everywhere. I’m allergic to all of it.

I started feeling a little better yesterday.  Then, night came and I had the worst sinus pain of my life.  It felt like I had broken a bone in my face or been hit by a baseball bat.  It was even radiating down to all my teeth in quadrant.  600 mg of ibuprofen, flonase, and benadryl later and I got some sleep.  I hope this isn't what Ontarkie feels like with her sinus issues.

Woke up this morning to mostly just a sore throat and my eyes crusted over.

In other news: It is the oldest one's celebration of her decade of life on earth today.

I feel your pain. Hopefully it will be short lived. That is my daily feeling. Sadly really after the surgery was short lived as the polyps started growing back weeks later. We are hoping these allergy shots help both.

Happy birthday to the not so little one. Funfetti cupcakes with purple icing is great!
