So public transit is a thing here in Austria. I have a pass where half of it is sponsored by my workplace..or better, former workplace!m and the other half is payed for by myself!

 

Today I wanted to quit my public tansit pass at the public transit head office....but they wouldn‘t let me! 

 

 I need a letter from my work place, saying I am REALLY not working there anymore.

 

So I called the head office of my work, but they said they couldn‘t do anything for me yet, I would have to go to my actual office first, where they print something out for me, then they have to take it to the head office where the letter would be signed and then my former boss brings it from the head office to our office and THEN I could have it to bring it to the public transit place 

Complicated you think? 

Bureaucracy at it‘s best here 🙄

I snapped back to reality half way back to the house, I can't believe I actually did it 

I haven't had time to keep you updated on her antics but they include her arranging an appointment for us with her heart doctor so he can convince us that spending every penny we have to give her a medication that might not do a darn thing and even if it had awesome results isn't going to change much...she's 84 freaking years old, there is nothing they can do to make her 40 again!

That's a hard no as well. Hasn't she got any insurance? As far as the Doc appointment, no is a complete sentence You do not need to set yourselves on fire to keep her warm. Seriously!.

We think she thought we'd just sit there nodding dumbly and write a check.

Her manipulation attempts are endless, not being available is the biggest bonus for me working so much 😂
