Speaking of which, we just had a rousing game of Wrappers/Fuzzy Balls with cat, first time in ages man.

This does not mean that our back is much better, see report below man.

Not-Yet-Invertebrate Report, see and sigh man:

 

Last night was one of the roughest for us ever, ow ow ow ow OW man.

 

First, we got no immediate relief from the injected meat-tenderizer, lidocaine obviously excluded man.

Second, we awoke from our postprandial nap sweating uncontrollably, How Dry We Weren't Man.

Many'rd, we began re-sweating shortly before bed at 2 a.m., kept us up till Many a.m. man.

Many'th, we awoke in the wee hours for a bathroom séance, weewee we man.

We yelled so loud that Mrs. T-B. awoke and had to help us to & from bed, ow man.

We did not really fall asleep after that, at most an inadequate Many total zzz hours man.

 

Upon reluctantly awakening, we couldn't walk, no man.

Was worse than last 2 days, rivaling even Sunday, ow man.

Took 2 prescribed pills and could almost function, still highly unpleasant man.

 

As we limped around the POTS office, people observed us quizzically, some commenting man.

We fired them and hired new help, important Business Typhoon we man.

Slowly at end of workday, minor improvement man.

 

At casa, somewhat better, still not out of woods man.

After nap, usual regression, ouch man.

We hope for some improvement by morning, this is getting very old indeed man.

Now that Mrs. T-B. has been in the U.S. for Many (2x2x2+2) years, a statute of limitation applies, read man.

She did not find herself a Rojo within the allotted time, no man, so she's out of luck, too bad man.

We, conversely, remain free to pursue and harem-ize rubias, prerogative of we man.

Weird fact of the day, cats get type 2 diabetes and dogs get type 1 (it's different than this but easiest way to explain it.)  So a cat could eventually be weaned off insulin with diet but a dog will always be on insulin regardless.  

 

So keep your pets appropriate weights people.

The neighbor took his out this morning.

 

I'm supposed to have class tonight, but in true Minnesota fashion, they didn't plow the slush yesterday before it froze.  They don't really salt or sand, so the entire drive is likely to be solid ice.  I'm definitely not doing that without snow tires and with all the kids in the car.  I have to somehow convince the Dane to take my car to get them put on this week.

Dog is adjusting to having attempted murder wrought upon her person  every eight hours. Only 5 minutes now to get her meds into her. We have the best part of 30 days to improve that new record.

It's chilly. We went from feels like 90 to feels like 44 nearly overnight. I need to spend the next couple of days outside winding up what I'm trying to get done out there. No snow for us, probably none again this year.

When we took our little beggar dog home in April, he was 8 lbs. He's 12 now. 

But I don't think he was fully grown.

The little Dane is just not sleeping lately.  It is exhausting.
