I'm not crazy about the idea that Amazon is coming to NYC. 

But this schmuck trying to threaten amazon is equally tarded. It's for no other reason other than votes. 

Last mayor told Phillip Morris that they can't smoke in their own building, well PM told that mayor to go #### himself and moved 2 miles across the river to NJ. 1100 corporate jobs going with it. 

Remington firearms, told the governor to go #### himself and moved 20 miles from Olean NY to Pennsylvania, forgot what town...

Bill Gates, when the feds threatened to break up Microsoft, he was ready to move to Canada. 

We lost Raytheon, lowrance, many other companies in the same manner. 

We're on the brink of going to NJ. 

Point is...don't be a ####### ###hole...

You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Connecticut has some similar problems with driving businesses off. That there is a dying state. Perhaps a precursor to some sort of white collar rust belt.

I went skiing this morning with my Norwegian skis instead of the Finnish ones. I think I like them better, but the Finnish might need some wax.

 

This evening the Dane and I snuck off to go ice skating. They built a new indoor rink a block away - free to use, of course. Besides a few sparse times, it is the first time I've really gotten out since I used to actually be decent at it.  We both had to get new skates as the free skates are only for kids. Mine are this super cute plaid pattern that I'm living for.
