06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

Some kind of district manager just called me from TD.

I'm like, I ask that you check the correspondence between this person and I.

My name is not "Hi", and it's not "Hello".

I have a name. Use it!

She agreed with me that the tone is less than business, and condescending.

So the question asked of me was, what can they do to keep my business.

My answer was long.

I said that if TDs claim of "Legendary service" holds true, then Chase bank's service is "Godly" (This reminds me of a joke)

I said that the ONLY reason why we have an account with them to begin with is that they happen to be the bank that is physically nearest to our office.

Told her I'd have an answer for her by Monday.

By which time, the balance on that account should be just about zero lol....

So what exactly happened???

So what exactly happened???

It all started with a company credit card... And we already have many.

But the TD branch solicited us.

Ok...sounds good, let's get one. I specified that I wanted a 100k limit. The subsequent correspondence was atrocious! The back and forth with all the info they wanted. And the condescending emails that starts like this, beyond unprofessional.

"Hi, I need..."

"Hello, I want..."

Then at the end on each email, it says,

"If you're not satisfied with the legendary service, contact..."

First of all, they wanted us to prove that a certain commercial loan was for a certain mortgage on a certain address. Odd, no other credit provider ever questioned us on anything. Fine, I did it. Then she demands 36 months of statements to prove that we've never been late.

By this time, I've had it. I wrote back, without addressing her, "Hi, it's called a credit report. Please have a supervising manager call me"

2 days later, no email, no acknowledgment, no calls.

Now it's no longer about the stupid credit card....

So, fed up, I shoot an email to the name at the end of the email. I'm like, did you guys bother teaching your staff business etiquette?

Did you bother checking my personal credit report? Our company's credit profile? Did you look at our daily balance? Our deposits? Why am I educating you on banking and credit services? Where's my call? Where's my email? This is "legendary"?  You've gotta be kidding me right? I'm about to hand over tens of thousands in future service fees, and why do I feel like the beggar?

It's not like they can even use the holidays as an excuse.

I said, "don't you know I have a discover? Black card?!" No I didn't say that lol...

Anyway, when she called tonight, she was quite apologetic. Said I don't have to prove anything. I said forget it, I'm withdrawing the application for this card. And I'm taking our business elsewhere. I specified Chase, but we already have an account at Chase and Citi. So Cap one was next...

I have another commercial mortgage with Cap One, they inherited me when they bought out greenpoint, their system sucks. But the attitude and service is great.

I'm so #### pissed off...

It's like I'm 20 years old and trying to get my first card with a 500 dollar limit...

That was a bad mistake for me when I first got one. My problem was that they gave me a credit card with s $7k limit at the ripe old age of 18 and a Senior in HS. I spent the next 8 years paying it and the following card I got at 19 off.

I now have a fully paid off USAA card with no issues at all but gosh what a learning experience
