Some kind of district manager just called me from TD. 

 

I'm like, I ask that you check the correspondence between this person and I.

My name is not "Hi", and it's not "Hello". 

I have a name. Use it! 

She agreed with me that the tone is less than business, and condescending. 

So the question asked of me was, what can they do to keep my business. 

My answer was long. 

I said that if TDs claim of "Legendary service" holds true, then Chase bank's service is "Godly" (This reminds me of a joke)

I said that the ONLY reason why we have an account with them to begin with is that they happen to be the bank that is physically nearest to our office. 

Told her I'd have an answer for her by Monday. 

By which time, the balance on that account should be just about zero lol....

Here's the joke (found it online) ....

Originally it was you can claim all your kids on your income taxes which is fine, what the state passed a couple years ago is that you if you have 2 kids then you only claim 1 child for income taxes taken out of paycheck. Since I have 4 rugrats I can only claim Married and 2 on my pay check. Which what I was led to believe is that "you would get the rest of it back at tax time". Well I am coming to find out that that sentiment/saying is a load of hogwash. I will ONLY get back $800 after getting $2700 taking out of my pay for the year in regards to state income taxes. 

 

I was paying less in state taxes in freaking California than I am here in NC. 

I have no idea what is going on with our state taxes this year. Turbo Tax didn't even have the new regulations loaded until this week and some of the things were very poorly worded and had no explanations on them.  I dislike the penalization for having more than 2 kids. Some people having more than 2 is required to offset all the people having none.

 

The assessor popped by today to get a look in the house... I was like "nope." That whole thing is invasive.

Yep. I hear you 100%. I was filling out an application the other day and realized it is ridiculous how little I've worked in the last 10 years. Even before that, I just had the B.S. jobs one has in college. It is kind of awkward. 

 

When I see resume advice online for SAHMs, they are always like list your volunteer things. Who has time to volunteer? Who'd watch the terrors?

Tho the thing has dozens of new parts. 

Last time, I gave, like GAVE....a truck to my wife's cousin, and he was still B-ching! 

It was my 97 Isuzu Trooper, 100k  on it. Great mechanical condition. 

I bought it when I was building the house. 

(I wasn't gonna destroy the Yukon)

Gave it to him maybe in...2011? 

He destroyed it, and then sold it.
