Yup, it's something else. Almost everyone I've heard from who's gotten it has had a flu shot this year. My wife went into the doctor's office and he said it wasn't the flu after he tested her for such, but I'm thinking it's just not the specific version of flu he tested for because all the symptoms point to flu.

 

And yeah, it's looking like a 24-48 hr bug. My wife had it for close to 48 hrs, me 24 hrs. Other than the cough, which always lingers, I feel fine today.

I tore a muscle in my back just before Christmas (they have decided it's torn and not just pulled now) I have become a human pincushion and had far more shots than is reasonable in the last 6 days!

Works idea of light duties is 10hr days standing up... not fun but they are letting me take a break when I need to
