Special report on continuation of cat's birthday, see and miu man:

 

Cat allowed to sleep on new furniture on Mrs. T-B.'s soft blanket all day, comfortable miu man.

Served cat usual soft glop, announced as Special Birthday Glop man.

Mini-B. again sang "Happy Birthday" to his big sister, celebratory wee man.

Mrs. T-B. surprisingly loved on cat and even kissed her on the nose, unprecedented man.

Served cat large handful of treats, junk-food for miu man.

Played Fuzzy Ball for an intense Many minutes, delighted miu man.

 

In apparent gratitude, cat exposed furry belly for tummy-rubs without clawing us into pulp, rare for miu man.

Major awesome, well done to you Nola.

Ahhhh well here I am, very relieved to say we've slogged it out & decided we still very much want to be together. Holy mackarel this is tough to get through!
In the meantime, my sister is going into hospital on Sunday for an op(on Christmas eve) to remove the tumour(we're praying for the best possible result with removal & margins etc-the surgeons were threatening to cut a very important wee organ off due to proximity but have been convinced to attempt to avoid doing so-quality of life situation & all) so it will all depend on the pathology results after surgery. We're hoping & praying for it to be ok(further surgery avoidable).

I've had a 'promotion' haha to 'general dogsbody'(quite literally) at the rescue kennels where I'd been volunteer walking the Greyhounds two days a week, a spot came up for a kennel hand & they asked me if I'd be interested.....it's two 7 hour days of poop-shovelling (again literally) cleaning, feeding, more cleaning & poop-shovelling & they can only give me something to cover my fuel costs etc but it's so rewarding knowing I'm doing what I can to help out these fantastic dogs in their time of need. My days are Monday & Tuesday so I'm on for Christmas eve & Christmas day plus Hogmany & Ne'erdy too.

I hope everyone here is gearing up for a fabby Festive time, much love to you all ❤️
