I thought there was a simple blood test, good luck my friend she will be in my family prayers

That's what the doctor took today according to my wife was a blood test. We will find out the results later today but she still has to go back tomorrow. But the doctor said all signs are pointing to RMSF at this point in time.

Oh they had the 65" models dirt cheap too, but it was just too big. I'd have to buy a new house to go with it..

When we moved to NC from CA this year we got a 65' inch Samsung UHD and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I wanna get a house with a home theatre, like those basketball player guys have...

But the thing is, we hardly ever watch TV.

My wife is playing the old retro Nintendo NES (I got it at the Amazon store in Herald square over the summer remember?) on the new TV...

Are you in training to become Mrs. T-B., obsessive mommy man?

Judgmental Dutch!  Judgmental, JUDGMENTAL Dutch!

(Uh, is he right, huh Nola-B. ma'am?)

All  most mommies are like that.

The Troll has a personality similar to me at like 15? I was a good and easy kid at his age. Although, my parents were never able to discipline me because I never cared. He's the same way.

It looks like my 5 year old may have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. She was complaining about her foot hurting her yesterday and she had a small bruise around her foot joint. This morning she woke up with rashes and spots on her legs. So my wife took her to the doctor and gave her some meds and to come back tomorrow for observation.

Oh no.  I hope that it is something more minor. I know HFM is going around.

Might be taking it for its recycling value, re-see man.

As in, to pay to have it recycled?  TVs are a hassle to get rid of.

I've started watching youtube on the TV sometimes, just to give the old computer a break. We only have the one and if the kids are using it, I've got a fat chance of seeing anything, let alone hearing it over their endless noise.

The Troll has figured out how to play the Lego games on the Xbox.  He's surprisingly good at it, despite being only 3. He solves most of the stuff himself.  I don't have a lot of points of comparison, to be fair.

It's has 0 recycle value. People are asking 100 bucks on Craigslist for this TV. She probably took it to use.

We have New Utrecht ave near by. That's the elevated train (seen in the intro of Welcome Back Kotter and Saturday night fever) Lots of apartments that are noisy, large illegal population there, the TV is probably there...

I had this old 50" DCLP Sony TV. It's a fairly bulky LCD projection. Weights about 80 lbs? Anyway it's huge...It's in great condition and hardly ever used.

I replaced it with a new 55".

So I taped a note to the old one that said the TV is fully functional, taped the remote to it. And left it out on the curb.

1 AM, a Hispanic woman with ox-like strength turns into the Hulk and picks it up like nothing, stuffs the thing into the trunk of a car (I dunno how), and drives off happily...

I shoulda left a note that reads "come back in a few days for the stand"

I did that when we replaced our 35" int he playroom. It didn't take long for someone to snatch it up.

Just a few weeks ago I put out a huge basketball net. Lowered the pole so it was more manageable. Put a sign on it saying "Take me I'm Yours :)"

The first car with a kid that drove by stopped let the kid out and he dragged it home. I'm sure that net will make him very happy.

Glad it was found early and prayers no lasting symptoms.

I had to google that, I've never heard of it. I hope it isn't that, but if it is you did catch something was up straightaway.  I hope she's on the mend :)

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

We certainly haven't seen more than a Manyzen or so orders for pre-owned toilet seats from thread participants consequent to yesterday's weekly ad with the handsome discount offer, hmmmph man.

You snooze, you lose, si and sigh man.

Contacted the landlord for many minor repairs before pretty Russian girl comes to America, but toilet seats were fine.

It was one of those LCD projections. It was a great TV. But I couldn't resist three 350 dollar price tag on an LG 4k 55" LED...

My 2007-vintage 42" LCD died just before Syracuse-Georgetown was about tip off. Ran to Target to get replacement; 55" TV did not fit in the trunk or back seat of Dave-mobile, and apparently only one side of back seat folds down in this car (which I've had for 3 years and only just learned ...). Had to immediately return it. So Amazon's getting my money instead... And watched the second half of the basketball game online, which was the better half anyway (good guys were down by 10 at halftime, came back and won).

We have a tv, I don't know the size of it. We moved it from VA to AR, and when we moved up here we moved it again. Still in the carton it came in. We don't look at tv.  Everything we want is online. I watch a lot of NZ tv with Tunnelbear.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I know right.... She has been coloring alot because she is not really mobile right now hobbling around everywhere because her joints are stiff and hurting right now. Hopefully it's just RMSF and not Lyme disease.

We are trying to find the blame right now on who brought the tick in to the house and we have narrowed it down to either the dog or the Christmas tree we got last weekend.

Hope she feels better soon and it's a fast fix :)

we have power, still not getting off the mountain though, redneck tried to get the truck out earlier and it didn't go well...he used lots of bad words!

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey
