It was a wild night. I think the first round had lots of lightning, the second was worse on account of the wind. I haven't heard whether damage around the area was due to tornadoes, I think perhaps more likely straight line winds. Heck of a night, and it was still thundering away after 0200. I fell asleep :D

Well, well.  Don't live on SI then. It is expensive to commute into NYC, no matter how you do it.  I don't consider Staten Island to be part of NYC.

We spent Saturday morning "batching it" with Mini-B., no chicas (except rubias) allowed man.

 

First, we went to the monthly Kids Activity at Home Despot, first time man.

Mini-B. expertly constructed and decorated a gingerbread man, barely had to look at instructions man.

Only help from us was holding what he was trying to nail with use of the adult-sized hammer, two hands man.

Mini-B. very pleased and so were we, wee proud and we proud of wee man man.

 

We next hit the above-reported GS, much clothing for Mini-B. found man.

 

We next lunched heartily at Arby's, of course with use of coupon man.

Mini-B. ingested his entire gut-bomb and most of both curly-fries, proud we of voracious wee man.

 

We finally visited the public library, return & check out books man.

Mini-B. was bored and wanted to show Mommy his gingerbread man, priorities for wee man.

We efficiently qualified & out-checked books, respect wee man's priorities we man.

 

At the casa, we proudly showed Mrs. T-B. the fruits of Mini-B.'s construction talents, considerable man.

Mini-B. explained the construction & decoration processes in detail, explanatory wee man.

Mrs. T-B. was very proud and we were re-proud, she proud and we re-proud of wee man.

 

Next week, perhaps we shall safari for rubias, always an appealing activity man.
