To assuage the fears of all those who were frantically lamenting our absence, we are pleased to report that we have visited and returned from Mexico, Wed.-Thurs. man.

 

Our back held up quite tolerably (albeit not invisibly) the entire time, relief to experience man.

 

However, the diesel exhausts, dust, and breezes have hosed our sinuses & lungs, that's the lung & the snort of it man.

Before first day was over, we were coughing like an illegitimate male child, hack artist we man.

During the night, we awakened every 2 hours, coughing like an illegitimate male child, awaken the dead man.

 

Upon our return, we beelined for every antitussive, allergy medication, and inhaler, solid/liquid/gas snootfuls man.

Improvements, if any, are quite temporary, pulmonary case we man.

We are turning paper towels into snot-balloons, endless vasomotor production man.

We sound like an emphysema patient who also has asthma and bronchitis, COPD man.

Other than that, great and productive trip, enjoy we man.

Among other purchases, we got Mini-B. two different Mexican soccer uniforms, kickball man.

One cost $Many and the other cost $Many, deal and no deal man.

Youthful reaction = priceless, delighted wee man.

 

On the U.S. side, we also visited the last surviving KMart in Texas, mandatory visit man.

We spent $Many there, many good finds man.

We also sadly discovered another Sears (one of our favorites) that is closing, just stop it already man.

We got a couple of items on discount, auld lang syne man.

The Salvation Army store is worthless, lousy selection & organization man.

The crisis-center store is great but had nothing for us, close but no cigars man.

A junky place upon which we stumbled had Nike pants & a Nautica shirt for Mini-B., $2 total man.

The Texas Thrift store had sleepwear & underwear for Mini-B., $Many ($2x2x2x2) man.

 

Our suitcases on the return flight were extremely full, what a drag/on a roll man.

Although, it has made him now decide he also wants to learn HVAC.  He's thinking of switching over to a company that has both so he can learn.  HVAC here doesn't have a traditional apprentice/journeyman/master system - you just need to be properly bonded/insured to work in it.

Its a good profession.
