For nearly a week, we have been enjoying our luxurious Nautica bath towel, bought for $1 -- yes, $1 -- at an ES, si man.

Cheapness + discernment = heavenly, ahhhhhh man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Random text from my mother:  My insurance will only cover me if I go to an urgent care or ER.

Wouldn't you think that was fishing for a ride to urgent care?

Nope, and apparently I was being unsupportive by firmly asking if that was what she wanted.  🤔

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

She'd have been equally unhappy if you hadn't asked...

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Oh you got to love those texts.

My sister (younger) texted me lecturing how our parents are old and I need to move back home. She goes on and one how I never call. (the phone works bother ways) and how if something happens I better not leave it all on her. Oldest sister is a useless junky. I told her I'm busy I have things to do and when I do call they are never home. They have call display and could easily call me back. They don't, plus when I do call my mother is always I'll call you back on skype on (insert day) it never happens. So I told her off. Also added that I will not be moving back to the SOO.

She expects me to pack up all the kids and I mean all of them even the ones that have their own life and moved out🙄 Oh yes I can see how well that will work out for them.

I'm infertile (which was one of the reasons for my divorce, and my depression) and my mom (still) keeps pressuring me to have kids. In my head, I'm all like, "WITH WHOSE BODY!?!?!" I'm infertile, and my boyfriend Mr. Lobster is "snipped", so it's a double whammy, yo. No kids coming from us. Ever.

Na I don't want 8 feet of snow again.

I have my windows open s little to allow some nice fresh air in today :)

I'm trying a new recipe for lasagna. It's called cowboy lasagna. It's all together now and cooking. Normally I like to just make my simple lasagna but hey why not live on the wild side

Not at that time, no. Cheaper to D.I.Y. if you know what I mean...

Not now, either. Mr Lobster just got fired from his job. This day is getting from bad, to worse.
