Weather cold, rainy, windy, & sucky, absolutely awful man.

Will even approach 0 C. (Many [2x2x2x2x2] F.) a couple of nights hence, forget this man.

If we'd wanted to experience this garbage, we'd have remained in the Midwest, return to normal man.

So, I'm up again worried about the baby.  Part of this is my anxiety, but part of it is probably valid.  His fever has come back and he just isn't getting better, so alas off to the doctor tomorrow or today, rather.  

 

 

Of course I had to do the stupidest thing I could and put an adult pulse oximeter on him.  First of all, it was wildly off on his finger - pulse of 30?  I don't think so.  Then, putting it on his foot was giving anywhere from 88-98% SpO2.  That 88 will really make me sleep well.  Good thinking Nola.  Kid isn't showing signs he's struggling to breathe (besides just noisy stuffy nose) nor is he cyanotic and I just had to go and do that.  😭  I know what the Troll looked like when he was below 80, so I should really know better.

Steve you inspired me to do an e-visit this morning.  Super easy and got "heap strong" antibiotics as a result.

 

They don't do them for infants, so the baby isn't going in until this afternoon.

One of my guys used it for his 7 year old kid, while they were in Canada!

The only thing was, he had to pay for the prescription, but later reimbursed by the provider. 

 

It is through one of the local hospitals and they can only do it if you are in MN or ND and have been seen by them in person before.  But, it seems that most of the things were for older than age 2.  It is pretty handy.

Might have overnight lows below 50°F even here (still hits reasonable temperatures during the day, while I'm in climate controlled office).

Anastasia reports it's below zero metric degrees in her hometown, but no snow yet. USCIS, NVC, and Moscow embassy need to hurry up so she can come to warm southern California (we hope nothing between LAX and San Diego is on fire).
