Poll

Would you go?

I have a cousin, her husband is a mover, with his own guys, and his own truck.

About 10 years ago? 11?

He gets into a pretty serious traffic offense. (I forgot what it was).

He was going to get his license suspended.

I sic my guy on it, the summons was dismissed.

I never asked him for anything.

A few months later, my driver was moving.

Now I asked him to provide me a crew for moving.

I said it's not for free. I just need a truck and a few guys.

He said OK, but they never show up, stranding my driver.

Subsequent calls were unanswered.

Down the road, they needed more help. But really, aren't they a little thick skinned to ask me again?

So, I never answer their calls again.

Today (I'm having a bad day), She drops off an invitation. Her 19 year old pregnant daughter is getting married.

Not going either.

I few weeks ago I cut 20 inches of hair. I didn't know it was that long. I just got tired of sitting on it and the kids stepping on it when they climb behind me in my chair. Somehow it's still to my waist. 🤷‍♂️

Made cabbage rolls. They are still cooking I'm a bit late tonight. While they are cooking I'm tearing a wall apart in my laundry room. I need to fix a leaky drain.

Ok break over back to busting walls. Steve go break something. It will make you feel better. Just don't break something that you will have to rebuy.

And of course, out comes the ####### benefits card.

And there I was, ###### stewin'. Me, a hard working veteran who did everything to get ahead.

And here's this selfish aisle hogger, she probably never worked a day in her life.

She gets in my way in every way possible, and yeap, I gotta pay for her groceries too.....

I really wanted to yell out, "You're ####### welcome!"

I'm going to preface this, with sorry to anyone I offend in the process, but how does a working family even qualify for food stamps?  Any job here makes too much money to qualify and without earning that much, someone could never pay for housing, etc.  They also seem to have a work requirement for adult household members?   Yet, I've seen the occasional local person use them.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

I think it varies from state to state, but if you have a bunch of kids under the age of 18, or if you're their legal guardian etc, there are certain provisions for their care.

In my state, minimum wage is $7.25, and regular 3bd2ba houses go for upwards of $200k. It's nigh impossible to afford anything AND eat.
