NYC is weird.

There's no hardees here

No bojangles fried chicken

No Wal-Mart (they banned them here, but target is ok?)

I had a Bojangles Steak Biscuit this morning on my way to work, and it was great.

We have 2 Walmarts within 10 minutes of us either way we go but Target is 30 minutes away. My wife misses Target so much.

Man when I went down to Busch gardens, I saw Bojangle's. But there was so much other good food, I didn't get to relive the memories of the Corps...

Speaking of the Corps, where's that useless Darklar...

Yes, they are Hardees back east.

Was actually half-kidding and expected @SAT was talking about some local place that was coincidentally (or not-so-coincidentally) named ....

/loves terrible-for-me Carls Jr burgers ...

Don't worry the other Marine is here.... I love Bojangles so much... If you order a Steak Biscuit and a Large Sweet Tea it's only $3.25. Unfortunately I am cutting back on my sugar so no more tea.

Speaking of trips, I was planning a Disney trip for 2020. I was gonna take the in-laws too. They never been any place nice.

But I just realized that 2021 is the 50th anniversary for WDW. So....2021 it is...

Oh yeah my wife...I was gonna book 2 theme park view rooms at the Grand Floridian. Now she wants a family suite...lemme go look at those prices...

Would you have said that about Amazon a few years ago?

Remember me complaining about Amazon?

The general public here wants Wal-Mart. The stories that compete with them, don't really exist here.

Are we really looking out for the New Yorker if he has to pay 150 bucks for a car battery instead of 75?

And it's not like the New Yorker can go elsewhere to get it cheap.

We're landlocked by 40 dollars worth of tolls!

I kind of didn't have a problem with Amazon until it started to put bookstores out of business.

Who is to say that Wallyworld wouldn't raise their prices in NYC due to higher costs of business?

New York is really only a city for the wealthy and their pet projects now.

Everything is 40-45 minutes away from me, but 99% of the time, I'll pick Target, especially now that they have my Dial lavender shower soap in a pump bottle. I've been trying to shop more at our local independent food store, but it is tough. I also like to venture more than a mile away from my house on occasion.

1- that was inevitable. But I also knew that people would turn negative on Amazon.

2- yeah I'd never pay what these idiots are willing to pay for my house
