Who will be your join sponsor, your mom or dad?. If your dad is the join sponsor, then he will need i864 and your mom will need i864-a.

my dad is the sponsor. does my dad on part 1 of i-864 check that he is the only joint sponsor, or that he is the first of 2 joint sponsors? my understanding would be that i am the petitioner, my father is the only joint sponsor, and my mother's information is supplementary to his household/income information provided. is this correct?

thank you!

for my i-864, part 5 (sponsor's household size), it adds the immigrant (my husband) and myself = 2 household members.

on my dad's i-864, part 5 (sponsor's household size), it adds the immigrant (my husband), my dad, and my mom (who fills out i-864a with my dad's i-864) = 3 household members. is this correct, or do i need to be listed on my dad's as well to = 4 household members?

Should both i-864's reflect 4 household members?

No no. If you not claim anyone on your tax, then your household will be 2( you and your spouse). The household number of your dad i864 must be 3( your dad, your mom and your spouse).
