NO PASSPORT!!! HELP!!!

I came to the Us from Canada and already have my 2 year GC but it ends in November,  my issue is my passport expired in February so I sent it off in January to get it renewed then the govt tells me since there is a small water spot its considered damaged and I have to give them my Canadian citizenship as proof I am Canadian since my apparently my SSN and Health card is not enough proof.

so I am waiting for my Canadian citizenship card to come in for me to get my passport to apply for my 10 year but there is no sign of it coming anytime soon.

 

any advice on what to do?

why didnt you use your birth certificate as proof and have the passport expedited?

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

I was not born in Canada I was born in Iran and they said that wont work

guess that explains why you dont have canadian birth certificate lol

I assume I have to so I have proof of my citizenship of Canada, if I am wrong I hope someone tells me on what do cause if I don't have my 10 year by November I wont be able to work :(

They extend your green card for 18 months now, not 12.  You can continue working until such a time as your status is removed by an immigration judge or your ROC is denied.
