Hi all.

I recently recieved my EAD and AP. My grandmother passed a month before I recieved it, so I have booked to go home and be with my family and to get some affairs in order. I dont know if this is a silly question but I was wondering if you guys had any advice at all?

I have a little problem that needs medical attention. Possibly a little surgery if things are more than what I thought. As a British citizen residing in the US, would it be possible to see a doctor in the UK? Or even consider getting the surgery in the UK? My trip home is for 2 months so there is time to get it done. I just dont want to get in any sort of trouble over here. If that is the case I will 100% not get any treatment when away. Just need to know the ins and outs when it comes to the NHS back home. Thanks for your replies in advance. Also, sorry if this is not the right forum/topic.

You can see a doctor anywhere you want.

Your NHS insurance may not cover the procedure since you are no longer a resident so you may want to look at that. Any US insurance would not cover overseas procedures (unless life or death and even then i have little faith in our system for that 😕 )
