I understood your POV.  She may not have meant it the way it came across, as she said, but it seemed that way to more than just me.  The thing is... removing the statues changes nothing, except the landscape.  And perhaps people’s memories 50-100 years from now...

Sure, I can see that, but in today's political environment will extremists that are driving this removal of visible history be ok with allowing them to be seen in museums?
