He may feel he is in a stronger place mentally, however as I said, he has a long history with mental illness... and there have been times this year where it is evident he is either not taking his medication or not getting effective help. No I'd never call him crazy, though many statements he has made would fit the general definition of it to some people. In reality it's likely just a symptom of his condition, or lack of treatment. I don't think the poster was implying he was 'crazy' because of his support of a politician, but his words and actions likely appear 'insane' to many. I don't think that we as society should in general be taking a celebrity too seriously, especially when it is clear they are not in a stronger place as they claim. He can support whomever he wants.

I find it interesting that Taylor Swift makes a tweet supporting Democrats and within 24 hours I saw no less than 7 separate headlines about how amazing, brilliant, beautiful, etc etc etc Taylor Swift is.  Kanye West says something to support Trump and he's crucified.....bias much????

Rush also pointed out that, if voter registrations in Tennessee increased by 6,200 (or whatever was claimed) consequent to Taylor Swift's endorsement of the Dem senatorial candidate, then how come the ratings for the Music Awards show that she hosted were the lowest in history (or whatever)?  Something doesn't add up.

 

Anyway, whether you're Kanye or Swift, you have the same one vote as do the rest of us.
