I just sent off my petition today and now I’m having major anxiety about if i sent enough evidence... my list of evidence i included is....

-a letter i wrote and signed about our love story

-a copy of my phone bill highlighting our conversations

-a copy of my Airbnb receipt from when i visited

-a copy of my plane ticket receipts

-a boarding pass from last trip there

-a copy of my upcoming plane itinerary

-10 to 12 photos of us with his family

-screenshots of our WhatsApp conversations

-a letter of support from my mom

does this sound like it will all be sufficient evidence? I literally sent every piece of evidence i had 😂

Seems good to me.

One thing. Did you include a wet ink signed letter of intent to marry (within the 90 days) one from you and one from your fiancee/beneficiary?

I included letters from both of us, mine was wet ink. His was scanned, my lawyer said his scanned signature was still binding and not as important as might right now since he will provide a wet signature at his interview.

Most of those are examples of secondary evidence.  Did you send any examples of primary evidence of meeting in person, such as copies of passport stamps?

If both of you wrote one letter of intent stating that you will marry the other person within 90 days and is signed then all should be fine. The rest of the evidence seems enough to me. Pretty much what we sent when we did my K1.

Did you fill out the forms yourself or used a lawyer as preparer? In that case, they need to put their info and signature in the i-129f.

One more thing since I don't see it listed in your list... Did you include a copy of your birth certificate or US passport or Naturalization certificate? And divorce decree (if any of you were previously married).

You should be fine.  It is easy to keep second-guessing the contents and quality of the petition along the way.  Good luck!

Yes the lawyer signed the i-129f as well. I sent a copy of my birth certificate and color photo copies of every page in my passport and a certified divorce decree. Is that all correct?

It looks good to me. Remember, unless your case has many red flags you don't need to use a lawyer. Now you have it, so use it but next step (after K1 approval and you guys marry in the US) will be "AOS" and you can do it yourself using the guides here and the help of the VJ members.

You seem very prepared so you should be fine. Now it's just the waiting part which sucks.

Thank you!! I was planning on using rapidvisa, then doing the whole thing myself, but cousin is an immigration lawyer so my dad thought better safe than sorry. However now that I’ve found visajourney i realize i could have done it on my own!

Well in your case it seems the lawyer did a good job and helped you to prepare well. Not many cases in VJ are like this. Next phase "AOS" you can do it yourself and save hundreds of dollars that you can use for a nice honeymoon in the US or for the AOS itself. It's not very complicated but we would have never done it alone without this website.

During the waiting time for K1, you can kill the anxiety by reading the aos guide so when time comes you will have it easy.  And before you send your package, you can put your doubts on this forum. The guide for AOS is here .

Always download the latest forms from USCIS website. The forms on VJ are for example only.

Enjoy your K1 trip. It's stressful but it's also fun.

Everything you listed seems sufficient to me. :) Unless you guys have any crazy red flags or pasts, you will be just fine. It does seem a lot more intimidating and scary when you first start off, but hang in there!!
