Hi guys,

 

Question. Once the beneficiary got all vaccines. Does the beneficiary have to translate it for doctor's appointment?

 

Interview will be in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

12/15/2017 (Friday) I-130 & I-130A were sent to USCIS Phoenix Lockbox by FedEx (overnight)

12/16/2017 (Saturday) I-130 & I-130A were delivered to USCIS Phoenix Lockbox (signed by J. Lopez)

12/18/2017 (Monday) PRIORITY DATE

12/20/2017 (Wednesday) Received text and email that my case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Texas Service Center for processing

12/21/2017 (Thursday) Check was cashed. NOA-1 (I-797C) was sent to me by USCIS via USPS.

12/26/2017 (Tuesday) NOA-1 (I-797C) was received.

06/07/2018 (Thursday) NOA-2 was APPROVED. 172 days.

06/11/2018 (Monday) NOA-2 was delivered by USPS to my home address.

06/22/2018 (Friday) Our case was sent to the U.S. Department of State (DOS) for visa processing (NVC)

07/27/2018 (Friday) NVC welcome letter with Case number and Invoice ID number was received by email. (51 days from NOA 2 and 225 days total)

07/27/2018-07/31/2018 NVC website was down

07/31/2018 Fees paid.

08/08/2018 ALL forms and documents were submitted (uploaded) to NVC website.

08/14/2018 CASE COMPLETED (DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED)

09/19/2018 Got email with VISA INTERVIEW DATE

I don't know how Brazil does it but when I did all my medical stuff in Buenos Aires (in 2011) for K1, I was never requested to translate anything for the doctor. The doctor did all the paperwork (after getting all my vaccines info, etc).  Maybe you can join the Brazil forum on this website, I'm sure some of the members will be able to answer those questions.

my understanding is, you only need to translate documents to English or the official language of the country where the interview will take place....so for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Portuguese).

 

For the Dr that will check the vaccination history, I would ring up the Dr office to double check.

Received by NVC: 16th February 2018

Started telling me they never received petition since: 22nd march 2018

Started saying they magically received petition: 26th March 2018

"there is no time frame for case number assignment": 18th May 2018

Case number assigned & fees sent: 22nd May 2018

Fees "PAID": 27th May

AOS & DS-260 with Civil Documents submitted online: 3rd June 2018

Case Complete: 14th June 2018

Received email with interview date scheduled: 12th July 2018.

Interview @ Dublin embassy: 2nd August 2018 DENIED!  (421 days since NOA1). 

(incorrect spelling and missing middle name on police certs)

31st August: did my 2nd medical cert, because 1st one expired.

14th September: official APPROVED.

Currently: waiting for DPD courier to tell me my visa is ready for collection at my local depot.

the US Visa approved doctors in RIO DE JANEIRO, I'm pretty confident will be able to read Portuguese 😛

No need to. Have the beneficiary take their vaccines card and any other vaccines receipts they have to their medical appointment. The doctors are all Brazilians and they will have the vaccines transcribed into the proper form (ds3025).
