Hey guys,

Seattle filer here! I've seen a few others on the July/October AOS pages but thought it would be nice to have single place to discuss any updates.

Has anyone seen any Family-based I-485 interviews scheduled/taken place recently? Visa journey's data states the last interview was in April/May...

My wife and I are from July of last year and no movement on our application. It is frustrating but nothing we can do but wait.

Haven't filed yet, probably won't until November 2018, since fiance is moving here in a few weeks. Out of curiosity, how long did it take for you guys to receive EAD? I don't know how my fiance will do if he can't work for 6 months. :(

We moved in August, filled Oct 2017 and got ours Dec 22... however the timelines were much shorter last year (around 3-4 months) so we were on the early end. Its so hit or miss its hard to give an estimate but i would be prepared for 6 months just in case. Its not easy! You finance could find some volunteering to keep them busy? take up a new hobby? travel if feasible.. or simply enjoy the time off while they can! Just have to make the best out of  a bad situation

I filed mine last April and got my EAD/AP in August. It wasn’t too long of a wait but definitely find something to do. I did a volunteer work and I think it’s a good thing to add to his American resume.

I wonder what are their bases for the interview schedule . I Can’t get it  🤢 I filed earlier than my friend but she got her GC first . The most frustrating part is I don’t have any update in my case status 😪 I also have one friend she filed June 2017 and got her GC May 2018 ..  same case and same office . I don’t want to compare but I can’t help myself to  think about it.  I called USCIS many times but they just keep on telling me to wait 🙄😅
