Important for is to remember that Immigration is a 2 way street, certainly was not our Pan A for me to be the one to move, circumstances changed.

Fat people need love, too. :D

Seriously though, there are some of us that are not cool with people using sweeping generalizations against a country and their residents. It's nice that you're open to all opinions, but painting with a broad brush is a super bad idea.

I am not exactly thin myself, this is just an example. I am not one to generalize hence the dissapointment with this whole process. I guess I should've just kept my thoughts to myself, this took a definite way bad turn it looks like. I in no way meant to offend anyone, hey I am no one to say, I am struggling with Keto and eating this damn salad as we speak 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Oh gosh no, I don't think people are offended. This is actually incredibly tame in comparison to some posts around here. We just like to talk a lot and give our experiences and opinions since I think the majority of us lurk around and seek good conversation.

I do think it is rude of them to assume that no one wants a fat woman. Ha.

Yes, and I notice most complain about them and do nothing or are too afraid to make a comment, I've seen people say the a poster oh I am soo sorry you were denied, they are so harsh bla bla and turn around and say, it's there job and bla..Ofocurse its their job, thats the whole point to keep us safe, but I have never read such "meaness" from any consule as I read from this one, just saying.

Everyone seems to us the USA as a punching bag. A friend of ours is from an African country (Uganda). He went to the Chinese embassy in a Western Country for a Visitor's Visa. The intake clerk immediately looked at him and said 'oh he will need an interview'. At the intake window, they asked for way more information from him then the other westerners were being asked for..eg bank statements, allowance of over $100 a day in China, hotel confirmations, letter from employer, etc etc...

This to say: It is determined BY Nationality AND locatity...nothing about race or religion etc

you r not offending anyone here

and never think u have to keep your thoughts like this to yourself

if people have never gone thru the CASA embassy,  they really have no idea of what we go thru

and if men didn't want fat women,  there would be a lot of southern women with no husband as these girls like their starches

just keep the faith and do the work

every day i went to the mailbox and opened my email hoping for good news / it is hard / it is worth it

and i didn't meet on a dating site / his aunt introduced us when i volunteered my time working with handicapped in Morocco

he didn't say much and was gone the next day

when i got to Paris there was an ice storm and i was stranded with no franks and he and his brother were there and bought me a sandwich and a drink

believe it or not i had the most trouble proving how we met as it wasn't on a dating  site

Yes, based on reviews I've read, I don't like most just worry about my life, I see how others are treated , on this portal and others and I feel for them, this process is daunting emotionally and if on a faulty foundation can crumble fast, I hate to see how others before me have been treated, interviewed or not really has nothing t do with the fact that  people should not be grouped and judged by others actions.

What about the older women who have indeed been scammed by young Moroccan men? The vulnerable women who think that they really have found true love in a handsome, charming young man, who go through heck and back and spend thousands of dollars to visit and get the guy to the US, only to be abandoned as soon as he gets his green card? It happens, and we've seen it here on VJ as well.

Try for a moment to feel compassion for those on the other side of this story.

Immigration is not perfect, nor is it a right.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well , don't we all love our starches

Either way, I see myself sending off a few letters in the next coming weeks  with the hopes that someone either looks at it and something stick or even looks at it but crumples it apart, I am trying. This is either way too much or maybe I am just blinded by humanity is good, or maybe I am just a fool who knows and it's all in my head and I am wrong, who really knows anymore.

I am not judging anyone, I am not sure where this is coming from but I do thank you for your input.

Try to understand why the CO's are coming off as so "mean"--to throw off and catch the actual scammers and prevent some other person from being used & abused. It's nothing personal, it's just their job.
