Injustices and Waking up Dissapointed and Saddened

I want to make it clear that I agree that they SHOULD ask uncomfortable questions. They should make people squirm a bit. This isn't a game, and if they have an indication that there might be fraud, they have every right to try and bring it to the surface. Yeah, people are going to be uncomfortable. 

 

Let it be a warning to you: Know your answers. Know your partner. Front load your application. Like @RJandHamid said, there is a lot of good advice out there. Read it. Be familiar with it. That's your best line of defense.

Ofcourse and of this I agree with more than 100%, the uncomfortable questions are what the interview is about, but I refer to just the brutality of some of the treatment. I am in no way saying that they should not conduct a harsh interview, I am they should maybe tone down the way some are treating others. For those being denied for no apparent reason, this should not be happening, long AP's , no indication for denial. ALL of the processes are not in alignment with what fair and just should be.

If there was a denial, there was a good reason for it. Always assume that posts about denials are not 100% forthcoming on VJ.

This. This is all to common here where people want answers and it feels like we have to pry bit by bit of info out of them until the whole story comes to light and it actually becomes clear why they got denied; but they don't want to just be upfront about it.

That could be the case, I also thought that as I am also a hopeful K1 applicant aware of my odds but after story after story of the same, do you really think that each and everyone of these people are lying or curbing the truth a tad, I mean I don't know , I am really starting to wonder here.

I don't disagree with you at all actually, their could be some fraud in Morocco but I also know the good of Morocco; the beauty, the love and family. To categorize someone based on another's actions is not ok and yes others suffer agreed and the consule needs to do its job and I also agree. The argument is not whether they should be hard or not, it's the level of cruelty directed at some of the beneficiaries for no reason, I thank you for your input.

I don't think that asking difficult and sometimes personal questions is necessarily 'cruel'. And the questions are not asked for no reason. The reason behind the questions is to try to determine the validity of the relationship.

Definately out of line to chastise an entire culture though. Obviously as said, there is fraud; but they are legit claims to relationships and marriage; so one cannot and should not blame an entire culture or people or say they are all at fault. There are good people everywhere, even in the worst of places in the world or high fraud countries, there are still good people. It isn't just Morocco as the one user tried to say, there are many countries on the high fraud list; but that doesn't mean one should demean an entire country or culture and most of us here won't tolerate that type of behavior. Some of us can come off as harsh or blunt ourselves, sometimes we mean to be, sometimes it just gets interpreted that way; but majority of us won't stand for that type of negativity despite what we think or believe. People are always surprised on here I think when someone posts about new immigration policies, USCIS policies, ect... and a lot of us here have no problem and want stronger immigration controls and limits. People usually are caught off guard by that I think so that could be why someone us come off as rude or what not sometimes.

No , I am not caught off guard, I stand firm in my belief that Morocco for obvious reasons is very difficult and from what I see and I am not saying that it shouldn't be , my whole argument stems from unnecessary demeaning and grouping of a whole category of people just because of others. Hey, if I was a consule and day after day I see the same scenario, young guy/old woman I would also be like geez I can't and I am sure I too will become a skeptic. When I see attractive young men with older heavier set woman my human mind also thinks that as fair as I am or as unbiased, my issue is not about the questions asked , it's about thew overall treatment and I hope you understand me, I am in no way disagreeing with you in any way, I actually posted for this reason , to get your opinions. Thanks a bunch for your input.

Yes, based on reviews I've read, I don't like most just worry about my life, I see how others are treated , on this portal and others and I feel for them, this process is daunting emotionally and if on a faulty foundation can crumble fast, I hate to see how others before me have been treated, interviewed or not really has nothing t do with the fact that  people should not be grouped and judged by others actions.

Seriously though, there are some of us that are not cool with people using sweeping generalizations against a country and their residents. It's nice that you're open to all opinions, but painting with a broad brush is a super bad idea.
