Got case number, what's next?

About 2 weeks ago 've got email that we've got NVC case number and that the papers will be sent to her and to me, but it will take several weeks.

Can we start doing other things while waiting for the letter? Can she go to the doctor and to do fingerprinting?

What about Affidavit of support? Does it have to be signed by notary or just that form itself is enough? Do I have to submit with it supporting documents? Like W-2 from last year?

Thank you

Forgot to add one more thing. I just bought a house and moved from MD to VA. If I change the address on the DHS site, will that delay our case?

Thanks

I don't think it will, it is advisable to keep them updated of your new movement.

You can relax for the doctor until NVC says it has been sent out or when the embassy contacts her and give her instructions. What you should do is start gathering the W2s, employment verifications, signing affidavits of supports and sending it to her via courier and all other related stuffs, that's all we did. Some medicals require you to have an appointment letter before they can schedule you to do medicals with them, they will definitely set a date before the interview so don't freak out.

Thanks. I'll update the address first thing Monday morning. Right now I am so busy moving, painting, cleaning.

Instead of sending her the forms, I will take them with me. Going to Bangkok in about 3 weeks.
