GCP After Interview?

Can my fiancee' do the GCP after the interview?  If so do we need to have duplicate items such as pictures together and chat logs?  We were not sure if the embassy takes these documents after we bring them to our interview.  Also we don't need the passport to do the GCP right since the embassy takes it?

Yes, your fiancee can do the GCP after the interview and without the passport. She will then have to go back to get the sticker in her passport. 

 

But you will need the pictures and the chat logs for the GCP. Also whatever else they deem appropriate that your fiancee will need.

OK thanks for the clarification.  If we bring chat logs to the interview will they keep them or give them back?  We are just wondering if we should bring 2 copies of the chat logs when we go to manila to do the interview and the GCP.  Thanks.

They should give them back but bring 2 just in case. How.many chat logs are you talking about?

Hank, I looked at your website, what does USC mean?

 

• From USC (copies of) - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common requests.  If you have never been married before be prepared to provide a copy of your ITR to prove your singleness... of course BLACKENING out the SSN for sure.

Since my fiancee and I have only met once I included all the pictures we took on our first meeting in the original I-129F packet.  She was going to bring those pictures again to the interview as well. Is this an issue we don't have any new pictures?  I am planning on being at the interview with her for our second meeting, but I only arrived the day before so we won't have long.

I did mine before interview and yes, pictures together, birth certificate(both you and hers), cenomar, divorce decree(if sponsor was divorced), nbi clearance.. make sure your fiancé have few more valid IDs.. she will need to leave one at the check-in counter.. it depends on the questioner., she will be ask mostly about you and your relationship.. you could bring the chat logs.. they might look at it just like my experience but they don’t read it word for word..

Nope.  No issue at all.  Most only meet once before the interview, and the pictures are always pushing on a year old ..  don't worry on this.   I will lay you odds the CO will only look at a couple pictures if any at all.

 

As for 30 pages of chat log ... makes good fire starter.

Are you saying 30 pages aren't enough and I should have more?  I have other stuff do such as a few Facebook posts together and of course I will be there in person as well so I hope that helps too.  Thanks.

Twist the pages... they will make good FIRE starter.

Sorry, I know I should already know the answer to this, but what does "GCP" stand for?  This is referring to the CFO "exit interview" that happens AFTER the embassy interview, right?
