There are ways to expedite. Do more research. Just because I got EAD in 75 days doesn't mean u can't expedite for the interview. I am also a wife of a US military member and I was told in USCIS office I can expedite even green card as my husband gets deployed in war zones. And after getting green card it's even possible to get US citizenship faster than 5 years. I already regret making this topic as everyone gets upset and mean coz some people got things faster😂 people you are mean 😁

People get upset because you act like you should be expedited JUST because you are a military spouse. The ONLY way it can be expedited is if your SO gets accompanied orders to a different country and not just a war zone. You can get citizenship by marriage with your SO at 3 years and ever sooner IF you are on orders and deployed with your SO to a different country.

The thing is right now simple clearances for US Citizens are taking over 9 months right now for a basic clearance. My clearance cleared last November after almost a year and I am a USC with a  Filipina wife. So you being not even a GC holder right now WILL NOT be expedited unless you are trying to get a job working for JSOC or something like that.

Please stop acting like being a spouse to a military member gives you some sort of benefits that it doesn't to regular people. There are many of us on here who are Military Spouses or Former Military and there is a word we give to those type of spouses.

You expect to get a greencard in just over 75 days? Haha you were lucky you got EAD in 75 days. It took me almost 6 months to get EAD and two of those months I was waiting to hear back from my expedite. USCIS is slow. Greencard is taking 12-17 months currently. There’s no expediting that. They’ll get you when they’ll get you. You can expedite EAD and AP if you have a valid reason but you already have that. You cannot get top security clearance without being a US citizen, so your excuse to “expedite” greencard interview isn’t valid.

You can get a TS as a green card holder but it has to be for very specific and highly desired jobs.

455 days for a green card or a clearance?

455 days for the green card from filing to approval. This was for K-1 AOS

You can't expedite because you're a spouse. That is incorrect. My husband deployed whilst I was waiting for my initial approval, it made zero difference. If you marry a US Citizen, and gain your green card through that process, you can apply for citizenship after 3 years. The fact that you're a military spouse makes again, no difference. You're just going to have to wait and be at the discretion of USCIS.

I know of a military spouse whose husband was going to be deployed, and she did not want to go to interview by herself. Reached out to a Senator. The interview was expedited and they attended the interview together before the husband was deployed. This was at the Minneapolis, MN field office. That person had also JUST filed. There are ways. Sometimes you just need a Senator to care and pull some strings.

Let's stop acting like the system is perfect and fair. It isn't. Otherwise, our first lady wouldn't have gotten her green card based on Extraordinary Ability.
