Hello

I am looking for an information if anyone has done expediting of green card interview. It's almost been 75 days since they got my case but nothing has changed on my I485, I have got my EAD and AP. Trying to get info if there is a chance to expedite green card interview and get it done asap.

Thanks

I got my EAD and AP after 180+ days from the day they received my case, and that was within normal processing time. May i know the reason why you want to expedite it?

Hi. I have a job offer which requires obtaining top security clearance and it isn't possible,if I don't have at least green card. That's the reason.

Are you sure green-card holder being considered for top security clearance?  I had lower clearance before and I was required to have US Citizen.  Just curious, have not looked for a job for so long.

I was thinking the same. But the job I was offered isn't for federal government. It's a private sector.

This sort of situation is only handled through a direct communication with your Senator's office. Yes it does occur and happen, know someone who had to move to another country for a job and senator office helped get the interview pulled forward.

75 days?  How about 455 days?  That’s how long it took us. Not saying yours will take that long. Just saying....

No need to be mean to me. I am not USCIS. I have seen people getting green cards in 40 days.

Real bummer it took you 455 days. If you don't have any info about expediting, I will continue researching more info to help others not to have it go all the way up to 500 days 😉

You expect to get a greencard in just over 75 days? Haha you were lucky you got EAD in 75 days. It took me almost 6 months to get EAD and two of those months I was waiting to hear back from my expedite. USCIS is slow. Greencard is taking 12-17 months currently. There’s no expediting that. They’ll get you when they’ll get you. You can expedite EAD and AP if you have a valid reason but you already have that. You cannot get top security clearance without being a US citizen, so your excuse to “expedite” greencard interview isn’t valid.
