We filed to remove conditions on my wife’s green card and got the confirmation from the postal service that it arrived on Aug 14th, 2018. We still have not received anything in the mail (9/17) and it will have been 5 weeks tomorrow. Everything I see online says we should have received a response after 2-3 weeks. They haven’t cashed my check, and I’ve called in and they can’t see anything or give me any confirmation that they’ve received it. I’m worried because while we sent everything before her card expired, at this point it is expired, so if for some reason they lost it and we have to send it again, there would be problems.

I’m very concerned but should I be? Is there another way besides calling in that we’d be able to use to check on this? On the website it said to send it to the California office so that’s where we sent it

thanks in advance

Yeah I’d just really like to know that they at least have it. Let me know when you end up hearing back from them. If it goes much longer I’m not sure what to do other than get a lawyer

Still waiting, but I don't think I will get a lawyer...don't want to spend any more money of I don't need to.

Well today I finally saw that our check was processed. So hopefully that means the letter is on its way and things are moving forward

That's great news!

If you want, you can check out the August 2018 I-751 filers thread and see what phase of the processing other VJ members are in, at approximately the same time you filed.
