I think that's what we're both worried about that as well. My husband is an engineer so we're working on getting his degrees internationally accredited and hoping that will help with the employment situation once he gets to the States.  I can't even image how frustrated he must've been having to deal with job searches. I guess we'll have to prepare for those challenges but it's good to have an idea now of what to expect so we're not blindsided. Thank you for the advice and sharing your experience!

My advice to your husband if he got engineering degree from Morocco, get evaluation and register for master degree in US, he will find a job really quick and maybe he can do his FE or PE if he got 8 years of international experience. If you guys need any advice on engineering let me know.

He has his MA is Mechanical engineering. So we're trying to get the evaluation now. I really hope he won't need to redo everything but I know UCF would be convenient for him to go to if he needs to retake some classes. He has two years of work experience with OCP/CMMS and he can use MATLAB.

Thank you so much! I might reach out to you again if we have more questions on the engineering topic. I really hope he is able to find a job, as it'll be one less thing to stress about. I'll be more at ease once he's situated.

You're welcome, ask him to try Jacob Engineering, they do a lot of work with OCP and if  he need referral I can provide him with some of my classmate name to put down, it`s always a plus, lah yasar.
