And my larger point is NB: people vote for whomever they going to vote for. Many simply don't care about being lied to, sometimes they nearly expect it, and furthermore may actually want to be lied to because it offers comfort. So while you're in disbelief how one 'tool' as you put it, could be elected, it's something that a lot of other people wonder about other elected officials in the same exact way.

Bedside manner matters. So does soul and morality. Righteousness and honesty and integrity. So does the gruesome manner in which the surgeon operates. You could have a self-professed supposedly good surgeon that does a great deal of damage to your body, takes longer to heal, and may cause more damage than it is worth.

well then his or her results would be bad and they would not be a good surgeon, believe it or not hospitals track success rates (outcomes) on procedures done by doctors.

 

You have to admit Trumps outcomes have been fantastic.

 You can admit that because that is what you believe and buy into, but I don't feel the same way. You might be mad that others don't see it the way you do, but I think in the end, the 'fantastic' you see won't be so fantastic. I've done a lot of thinking this past week (hubby and I went away to the mountains because quiet nature is soothing to the soul and I think sometimes we all need to take a step back), if things continue as they do there will be a backlash. That backlash will likely be something neither one of us on opposite political spectrums would want to see. We'll wonder how we got there.. and how we can fix it. I just can't help thinking it will be too late by then. The soul of America, what we stand for, what we are, our differences (which is a good thing), our respectability is being lost at a rapid rate. That's troubling in a severely disquieting way.

Its not a matter of what I believe or not. Its cold hard facts. Unemployment at record lows, tax revenues up,  salaries increasing, companies raising minimum wages,  Isis being beat into submission, North Korea not firing missiles, NAFTA redone  etc etc etc

And for everything that you quote is a fact, there will be other facts that can be presented that shows you what you believe is misleading, untrue, or only partially true, or has nothing to do with the current president but larger other economic factors and groundwork from long ago. And we've been all over that again and again... nothing changes your mind, and nothing will change anyone else's mind. So what's the point exactly?
