Hi all,

I am to upload documents to NVC (CEAC). I have completed the I-864 on PDF.

However, there are few spots where I could not type in addition to Signature.

Do I print out, complete with ink, Scan and upload?

Will it be a JPEG? I am not sure if it will be fine.

Photos? my wife s or mine or both? Passport size?

How do I upload them?

As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Print, sign, scan to pdf, upload. Passport photo of the immigrant. 5cm X 5cm or 2" X 2".  Read the photo specs.  Instructions for upload are on the CEAC site.  Read them and follow them.

Thank you. I didn t know I could scan to pdf. I had to upload my 2017 Tax returns as Jpeg because they were greater than 2MB and I could not compress the file.

You should be able to adjust the setting from the scanner or re-render the pdf as lower quality.  I work as engineering consultant and most of scanned drawings with multiple pages with  are less than 1 mb in size and we have no problem printing to A0 size.
