Affects of Potential Canada Post Strike on Visa Delivery?

Hi fellow Canadians - my k1 interview is coming up Oct 3. As the majority of you may have seen over the last few weeks, there is a real potential that Canada Post will go on strike starting Sept 26. I really hope it doesn't happen and that things get ironed out for everyone without a strike BUT - what if it does happen?

Our K1's (and I think all other visa's affixed to your passport) are sent back to us after an approved interview via the Canada Post (I think?) Am I correct? So if the Canada Post goes on strike, how will we get our visas and passports back?

Does anyone have an interview coming up this week? Can anyone ask the consulate what the plan is? Can we bring a pre-addressed/pre-paid fedex envelope to use or similar solution? Or do we have the option of picking it up in Montreal? I've sent them an email but I'm 99% sure they will come back with a generic response that won't really give any information.

Just thought I'd put it out there....

I'm going on the 3rd too! Just moved it from this week.

I was told, that, if they go on strike it's likely they will do a rotating strike meaning they will deliver mail, just slower, Don't quote me as I don't work for the company and Canada post can still lock them out.
