K1 visa filing while fiance is visiting me

So the form is asking if beneficiary is currently in the US. She is here as a tourist for two weeks. Do we have to answer this section, cause I get the feeling it’s for beneficiary’s who intend to stay

Answer no. As she is not here permanently. She’s only visiting.

I disagree. The question is not wether they are in the US permanently, it asks if they are currently there. If you complete the form while they are in the US, you just answer yes and answer the next few questions about arrival, travel document, etc. Answering no would technically be lying, and I would not risk that.

I agree with this response. In addition, OP, make sure you make it very clear in your cover letter that your fiance is currently visiting you in the US while you fill out the form, and that she intends to return to her home country for [work, studies, etc].
