NVC to Create Case number..?

It can take up to 8 weeks to recieve your case number. Calling them everyday is not going to make them give it to you faster, you are now at the beginning of the the nvc process

going to depend on many factors 1. how fast they assign case number 2. how fast you pay the 2 fees when they are requested 3. how fast you and immigrant fill out the I 864 and DS 260

🙂Thanks, I am aware of the steps. Re-stating my question again - Did you get the Welcome Letter in an email or by postal mail?

 

If by email, did you specifically give them that email or did they capture it through the email that you gave on the I-130.

the welcome letter is different from the NOA2 i797 sent by mail right ? the Two are different document ?🙄

I got an email with case number and then about a week and a half later got the letter in the mail.

I-130 Approved: July 6, 2018 (6 months wait)
NVC Received Case: July 18, 2018 (12 days wait)
Received Case Number: August 10, 2018 (23 days wait)
Paid AOS & IV Bill: August 10, 2018
Was marked "PAID" August 15, 2018 at the CEAC site. (3 business days wait)

Filled out DS-261 & Supporting Docs: Tuesday August 21 2018

Uploaded AOS Forms & Supporting Docs: Friday August 24 2018

Case Complete: September 13, 2018

Appointment Date Email: November 9, 2018

Appointment Date: December 21, 2018

Visa Approved: December 21, 2018

Picked up Visa from Post Office: December 31, 2018

Received SSN: January 4th, 2019

Received GC in Mail: March 24, 2019

my petition is approved for IR1 for spouse, case was sent to NVC on 26 september but have not heard from them yet how long it takes to get your email from NVC with case number ?

my case was sent from USCIS to NVC on sept 24

OCT 2nd NVC got the case

 

now I am waiting for the case number...

 

if everything goes smoothly how long it takes for the case complete. I am thinking by the end of NOV is that possible?

NVC taking about 3 to 4 week to assign Case number and Invoice number.
