Expired I-129F form

Hi there,

 

I'm about to print out our completed I-129F form but have noticed in the top right corner it says the form expires 08/31/2018. I've checked and it's the latest edition on the site. Is it still ok to file this?

USCIS website stated " 04/10/17. A new edition of this form is coming soon. In the meantime, you may file using the 04/10/17 edition. " So I sent our packet today 9/14/2018 using that one :-)

That's the OMB expiration date for comment. You are not the Office of Management and Budget. USCIS goes by the edition date in the lower left corner - they accept certain editions, as stated on their website. The one on the website right now is the current edition.

Did you write name on back of ur passport style photogragh? Or any mark.

We forgot doing it. It can cause problem?

I wrote 'Photo of (Beneficiary's name)' and 'Photo of (Petitioner's name)'. I'm not sure if it'll cause a problem if you didn't write on it. Hopefully not!
