In the CR-1 info it doesn't specify when the passport photo needed to be taken.  It only specifies to see the instructions for passport photos in general.  That says 6 months. I know the k1 VISA is within 30 days.  Does anyone know for sure within what time frame the passport photo should be taken for the CR1?

I-130, it is 30 days page 6

 

(3) You must submit two identical color passport-style photographs of yourself and your spouse (if he or she is in the United States) taken within 30 days of filing this petition. The photos must have a white to off-white background, be printed on thin paper with a glossy finish, and be unmounted and unretouched.

For peace of mind, I'd take the photo right before submission of the paperwork.

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
