Remove an account

Hello, I joined VJ around 14 years ago.  I still visit time to time.  Today, I couldn't remember my user name lol so I created this new profile.  Plus it was under a very old email address that I haven't used in years.  Well, I just remembered my old user name and password.  Can I delete this one?  I would like to use my old account and update my email address but it won't allow me because of my new account.
