I know this was from last year, but bringing it back since I just applied to the San Bernardino area. Curious if there are any updated stories.

 

I actually did my original GC interview here back in 2013 and it was great. I was in and out in about an hour. The entire process took about three months. I am fan of this office.

Just had our removal of conditions done here and it was a smooth process. Filing for citizenship soon and we’ll have that handled at this office as well.

Thought I would jump into this thread as well.  I submitted my N-400 online 3/31, now waiting for the office to open and issue me a biometrics appointment (I assume Riverside) then eventually to San Bernardino.

Yes I am still waiting.  I submitted online 3/31/20.  I received a Biometrics reuse dated 12/14.  I am not sure how the Covid restrictions are affecting the San Bernardino office.  The USCIS website says they are open which is a good thing, but who knows if they are slowed even further given the crazy levels of Covid in the county.

Oh wow. You have been waiting for quite some time. I thought SB office was pretty fast.

The last update I received was a letter in the mail last month saying the biometrics would be reused. In that same letter, it said the case was still being processed. I also checked online and it still has the same message from March 2020.

Gotcha. Well, let's hope for some fast processing. My N-400 application was based on military service. I also have a pending 751 that was filed in July 2020.

When I filed I checked the processing times.  I can't remember exactly what they were but I do remember thinking it would be about 12 months.  Currently it is 12.5 to 14.5 months. So while it is taking longer than before it is not that much worse.

 

My case status has also remained unchanged since submitting  the application. Still says "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Emailed"

2010 = missed the chance, due to stay in the jungle,,seriously :cry:

2011 = missed the chance, due to work activity, too busy :crying:

2012 = started to learn again, and tried to apply DV visa, but finally not selected, and realize that i put with wrong background picture. failed to understand the requirement. :oops:

01/05/2014 = website was down due to high traffic

03/05/2014 = check for DV winner, finally it shows congratulation, you have been selected for,,,,

26/07/2014 = submitted form DS 260.

15/08/2014 = got 2nd letter notification

27/09/2014 = medical check up done

15/10/2014 = got interview with US embassy, but case is pending

09/11/2014 = resubmit additional document

10/12/2014 = got email from US embassy to hand over all the passport

11/12/2014 = DV visa granted and printed
