Hi everyone!! I have my interview for adjust status base on a k1 visa on october 18th ,so my doubt here is that I dont pay rent where I live with my wife because it is her brother in law house, and of course we do not pay any bill that belongs to the house. I want to know what kind of agreement can I do to show that we live together there . What I have in mind  was to make a letter from my bro in law explaning that my wife, and I live together there since day one ,and then notarize that. Of course I got a bunch of other proofs that we live together ,but I want to make sure that we got this one too.

Thanks in advance...

Affidavit from family about your living situation can be helpful.

You both receive mail there too? Can show mail is addressed to you both there.

As long as your other evidence is strong such as financial co-mingling, joint accounts, joint medical, joint car insurance, cell phone bills, life insurance policies even, ect... then the living situation can be resolved and shouldn't stand in the way.

Yes, we have a full bag of mails,my own and hers that show the same address since the first day I got in the U.S plus a bunch of other things such as bank accounts, change of her last name, insurance with both in it,bunch of pics with family reunion, taxes together, bills together from our phones, well plus a ton of other things I got a really big envelope full of proofs. So I will get affidavit from My bro in law expecifying that we have been living here in his house since I got here. I got some co-workers that can do some too.

THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE ;)
