I was wondering if anyone on this forum has traveled with their current passport, expired green card and 1 year permanent residency extension stamped on their passport and what their experience is especially coming back to the USA without any issues/delays? I appreciate anyone who has recently traveled out of the US with the same situation can help me out.

We have done this a couple times and the only thing that was different was that it took a little more time getting through Customs.  We traveled without the green card as the local office took them from my wife/daughters when we went in the stamp.  Just plan on being in Customs a little longer.  Also, plan on checking in a little longer as the gate agent will probably have to go research a little before checking you in.  Only challenge, overall:  more time

Ditto. It's not a problem but will require you to spend more time in immigration when returning to the US. They can't process the stamp electronically, so they have to send you to secondary inspection for review before allowing you back into the US. This process took us anywhere from 10 minutes to 4 hours.
